General Info

La Perdiz is a restaurant located at Guipúzcoa 350, 11300 Montevideo, Departamento de Montevideo, Uruguay, and it has the kind of menu that feels made for a relaxed, satisfying dinner. The place is a good fit for anyone looking for a proper sit-down meal rather than a quick delivery option, since delivery is not available. That actually suits the style of La Perdiz well, because the experience feels more connected to dining in, taking your time, and enjoying the food while it is served fresh.

One of the first things that stands out about La Perdiz is its strong focus on hearty dishes and drinks that pair well with them. The Wine selection is a natural highlight, especially for guests who enjoy pairing a glass with a rich main course. The restaurant also has a great beer selection, which gives the menu a more flexible feel for different tastes. Whether someone is visiting for a casual dinner or a more planned evening out, the drinks help round out the meal in a simple but memorable way.

For food, the Bife Ancho Premium is one of the signature dishes that gives La Perdiz its confident steakhouse-style appeal. It sounds like the kind of plate that meat lovers would look for when reading restaurant reviews or comparing locations for dinner in Montevideo. The Rack de Cordero also adds a more refined option to the menu, giving guests something rich and flavorful beyond the usual classics. These dishes make the restaurant feel suitable for both everyday dining and a more special night out.

La Perdiz also has a few details that are useful to know before visiting. Dinner reservations are recommended, which is always helpful for planning, especially during busier dining hours. The restaurant is good for kids, making it a comfortable option for families who want a proper restaurant meal without feeling out of place. However, guests should note that there is no wheelchair accessible entrance, so accessibility may be a concern for some visitors.

Dessert and drinks also play an important role in the overall experience. Copa la Perdiz gives the menu a house-special touch, while the Crème Brülée adds a classic sweet finish for anyone who likes ending dinner with something smooth and familiar. Together, these highlights make La Perdiz feel like a well-rounded restaurant in Montevideo, with strong mains, enjoyable drinks, family-friendly service, and a location that is easy to identify for anyone searching for places to eat near Guipúzcoa 350.

What customers say?

“ Good food, wine, reasonable prices, great ambiance. I had an excellent entrecot steak, however my wife felt her risotto was watery, below expectations. Server was very helpful, offering free tastings of various wines before final selection. ”

- Bernardo Spinrad -

“ We've been here for dinner for two days. Both days, the food was delicious and the service was incredibly good. Unfortunately the first day we've been a bit unlucky, because our starter was forgotten. But the waiter handled this situation highly professional, apologized for his mistake and I appreciate his behavior very much. Then one of my picaña steaks was not that good, it was a bit chewey. I complained about it and got another piece which was simply perfect. As an apology we got some sides and dessert for free, but it was the professional friendly behavior for me, why my first evening was also a 5 star one. The other evening everything went well! We would definitely come back if we visit Montevideo again. ”

“ Perfect grilled medium rare rib eye steak! It almost melted in my mouth!! You will love it for sure!! ”
